Tell us of pain

And a woman spoke, saying: Tell us of Pain.

And he said: Pain is the breaking of the shell that encloses your knowledge. As the kernel of the fruit must break so that its heart may be exposed to the sun, so you must know pain. [...] It is the bitter potion with which the physician within you heals your illness. So trust in him and drink his remedy in serenity and silence.

Tell us of pain is a project developed in the provinces of Naples and Salerno in 2021. It is a journey through the colors of the soul, an awareness of a human being walking asleep, reading ‘The Prophet’ by Kahlil Gibran and searching in the mists for his own awakening. In these lines and colors, I have understood and made peace with pain, denoting the words of the Lebanese poet and trying to interpret them through photography.
